Language solution company SDL hosted last Wednesday, October 1, the launching seminar for the 2014 version of its leading computer-assisted translation software, Trados Studio.
This 2014 version launching seminar coincides with the Trados’ 30th anniversary and marks SDL’s first event of the kind in Korea.
The session, attended by TL and other Korea-based language service providers and freelance translators alike, consisted of a set of talks and live demos presented by international and Korean SDL staff, including SDL TP Vice President Massimo Ghislandi.
Through the seminar, SDL presented the latest versions of its Trados Studio and Studio GroupShare software and let the audience in on the company’s current status in Korea.
Leveraged by its global dominance in the field of translation software, SDL is now making efforts to expand the use of Trados in Korea by listening in on the feedback provided by Korean users and working towards full software and service localization in Korean.
